Peshastin Pinnacles is a day use state park located just outside of Cashmere off of Highway 2. Picnicking is allowed there, but the primary attraction are the trails that lead up to the top of the interesting rock formations that are found there. A couple of weeks ago, we posted a video showing a train trip across the Cascades from Wenatchee to the west side of the state. Here is another find that shows a couple of trains heading through the incredible tunnel located on Stevens Pass.

Here is some great footage provided by someone filming their trip aboard the Empire Builder as it leaves the Wenatchee train station and heads up and over the Cascade Mountains. Includes nice shots of some of the tunnels.
