Rocky Reach Dam is located just a few miles north of Wenatchee. To get to the visitor center, travel north on US97A on the west side of the Columbia River. There is a large park and climbing toy for the kids to run and play on, but the dam itself is the main attraction. Here [...]

The Chumstick Highway is also known as the back way to Lake Wenatchee. It connects Leavenworth to the lake by way of the small community of Plain. Near Plain, this small fire station sits on the side of the road ready and waiting to protect the surrounding land. Twitter This!

The Chelan River has an entire run of about two miles. It flows out of the eastern end of Lake Chelan, through part of the town of Chelan, through the Chelan Dam, and when the gates of that dam are open it flows down the steep hillside to the Columbia River below. Twitter This!

The field above East Wenatchee was the site of a historic event a long time ago. The first transatlantic flight left from Japan and landed in East Wenatchee long ago. The plane’s name was the Miss Veedol and this small monument near the entrance to the city pays tribute to this significant accomplishment. Twitter This!

Palisades is located in Moses Coulee and is a very interesting part of North Central Washington. It is surrounded by the coulee walls on all sides which provides for some very cool looking scenery.
