The Chelan River has an entire run of about two miles. It flows out of the eastern end of Lake Chelan, through part of the town of Chelan, through the Chelan Dam, and when the gates of that dam are open it flows down the steep hillside to the Columbia River below.

The Ruby Theater is one of the many interesting things to see in downtown Chelan, Washington. This little community on the shores of Lake Chelan is fun to visit for nearly anyone. Whether swimming or boating out on the water or exploring the shops, restaurants, and bars located in the community, it is a very fun place to go.

For visitors to the area and locals too, a trip up to Lake Chelan during the warm summer months can be a very very appreciated thing. The warm sun, the cool water, and a whole host of fun activities… Lake Cheland is one of the best places in the region to head to. Lake Side Park sits on shore of the lake on the south side of town, just before where you turn left to head into town when going there from the south.
