		<description>Sorry, didn&#039;t see your comment until just now.  Well, it&#039;s all over but the smoldering at this point.  The fire closed down Highway 2 through the Tumwater Canyon for a couple of days and traffic was diverted through Plain on the Chumstick Highway.  Word has it that some of the drivers that went that route decided they would stay with those highway speeds even when going right through this quiet little town.  If you&#039;re familiar with that area, the fire was primarily located between the Alps (the candy store above the Tumwater Dam) and the Green Bridge.  Lots of rocks and burning logs fell on the roadway below while it was burning on the hillside above.  It opened up last Friday night though (the 19th).

All is good... for now.</description>
