We’ve added some photos of Peshastin Pinnacles State Park to our NCW State Park photo gallery. Peshastin Pinnacles is a small State Park, located between Leavenworth and Wenatchee, with great rock formations that attract rock climbers from miles around.

We’ve added some photos of Stratford, Washington to our North Central Washington Community Gallery. Stratford sits just off highway 28, a few miles west of Wilson Creek along the eastern side of Grant County. It’s a tiny community, and other than the post office is limited to farms and houses.

Saturday, January 18th was the date of the annual Chelan Winterfest celebration. Some of the activities taking place in this NCW community were:
A polar bear plunge into Lake Chelan.
A bonfire.
A lighted parade.
Snowmobile drag races.
Snow sculptures
