With the closure of Snoqualmie Pass due to high avalanche concerns, Stevens Pass was hit with a higher level of traffic, including many more semi trucks than they are usually ready to handle. With the adverse weather also hitting Stevens Pass it made for some tough travel conditions over the past few days.
