Jeremy Cantrell, former head coach of the Wenatchee Applesox, has a new coaching job. It was recently announced that he has been hired to be the head baseball coach at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas. Cantrell was a 2000 graduate of Bethany College and has coached in a number of places. Twitter This!

Here is a story linking Stemilt Growers to poor migrant worker living condition in California. The United Farm Workers union representative states that Stemilt invited the workers to come down to Washington and that the land itself is owned by a partner in the company. The founding president of Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake has passed away. Alfred “Al” Phillips was the president of this local college in the late 1950s and early 1960s before moving on to even more impressive accomplishments in the field of education.
