Chelan River Photo Gallery Is Online

The Chelan River is a short river that connects Lake Chelan with the Columbia River. The Chelan River Dam blocks the river shortly after it leaves the lake and funnels river underground to its powerhouse at the bottom of the hillside. For years, the Chelan River has actually had a usually dry river bed for the most part. This has changed recently and water will be once again flowing down the Chelan River for years to come.
