New Photos of Omak Lake Added to the NCW Lakes Gallery

Omak Lake sits just southeast of the community of Omak in Okanogan County on the Collvile Indian Reservation. The lake is popular with those wishing to do some boating, jet skiing, or fishing. It is an easy drive from the communities of Omak or Okanogan, just a few minutes really. The lake is fed by a number of small creeks in the area, as well as snow melt in the Spring. It is classified as a saline endorheic lake due to the high levels of dissolved salts in the water. It is the largest saline lake in the entire state of Washington.
