New Photos of Fort Okanogan State Park Added

Fort Okanogan State Park sits along the Columbia River right where the Okanogan River flows into it. The park has no camping and consists of a picnic shelter and a small but very interesting museum. Some great views both downriver towards Brewster and upriver towards Bridgeport can be had from this hill overlooking the area.

The museum includes a very nice replica of the original Fort Okanogan all done to scale.

This is a great place to stop off at on the way through the area.
