New Photos Of Sun Lakes State Park Added To State Park Photo Gallery

The NCWpics State Parks of North Central Washington Gallery has a new addition.

Sun Lakes State Park is truly unique, it sits in what is generally a very arid and dry portion of the area but has a great deal of greenery and water around it. It sits just south of Dry Falls which if someone hasn’t seen it is truly a magnificent site.
There are a large number of things to do in the area, one of the most popular is some form of water recreation on any of the local lakes including Deep Lake, Soap Lake, Lake Lenore, Blue Lake, and Banks Lake. Lake Lenore Caves is just a few miles south and are a nice area to take the kids to and explore. About an hour north is Grand Coulee Dam and Lake Roosevelt. The laser light show plays at Grand Coulee Dam through most of the warmer months.
Golfing and boat rental are also available at the state park. It is one of the local treasures, a great place for the whole family.
