A fire broke out yesterday just off Horse Lake Road in Wenatchee and was the focal point of many residents who came to watch. The fire was successfully put out without the loss of any homes that were in the area. A big thank you to the local firefighters.

Buddy Bhandar, vacationing from Canada, made headlines when he saved a local woman who had a heart attack while tubing in the Wenatchee River near Leavenworth. Bhandar evidently wanted to keep a low profile regarding the rescue, but the news has now broke in his hometown and he has been getting quite a bit [...]
