Wenatchee Man Competes In Disc Golf In Montana
A Wenatchee man, Owen Parsley, competed in disc golf as part of the third annual Timberbeast tournament in Troy, Montana recently. Better than that, he won a competition after the awards ceremony with the longest throw of a disc (sometimes called a Frisbee) at 540 feet. To get an idea of the distance, a standard football field is 100 yards long, or 300 feet. Read the story here.
