The historical 100 plus year old single lane Monitor Bridge is to be closed, recommends the Washington State Department of Transportation. The Chelan County PUD was recently awarded a 2008 OSAW award for it’s stewardship of local waters. For all the complaints about the PUD, it is hard to argue with the benefits they have provided as far as parks, trails and water recreation access. Twitter This!
