The Parks Managed By the Chelan County PUD

One of the nice additional benefits of the abundance of hydroelectric power here in the North Central Washington area is the additional park and recreation opportunities it has provided. The Chelan County PUD alone owns fifteen parks, though some are managed and operated by both state and local agencies.

The parks owned and/or managed by the Chelan County PUD:

Park locations with camping:
• Beebe Bridge Park
• Daroga State Park
• Entiat Park
• Lincoln Rock State Park
• Orondo River Park
• Wenatchee Confluence State Park

Park locations that are primarily day-use only:
• Chelan Falls Park
• Chelan Falls Powerhouse Park
• Chelan Riverwalk Park
• Manson Bay Park
• Old Mill Park
• Rock Island Hydro Park
• Rocky Reach Dam Park
• Walla Walla Point Park

These are just more benefits from the hydroelectric power that benefits North Central Washington. Enjoy the parks of the NCW area this year!

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is coming to North Central Washington. It all takes place at the East Wenatchee High School Track on Friday, May 16th. The event starts at 6 p.m. and more information can be found at the organization's website located here.
