Chelan County Regional Justice Center To Import Inmates?

The Marysville, Washington City Council recently met to discuss entering into an agreement with the Chelan County Regional Justice Center to house inmates there to alleviate some overcrowding issues. Inmate overcrowding is a huge issue in some areas due to not having enough space for the amount of inmates the area is processing. Usually the only answers are:

1. Build more jails.
2. Release prisoners early.
3. Transfer to jails out of the area that are not overcrowded.
