There will be a meeting tonight (February 25th) at the Eastmont Junior High to discuss the proposed extension of the Apple Capital Loop Trail up the east side of the Columbia River past Rocky Reach Dam and to Lincoln Rock State Park. This has been a very contentious issue in the Wenatchee area with proponents of recreation and the trail on one side and agricultural interests and local farmers on the other side. If you’d like your voice heard, attend the meeting tonight.
