For the second time in about a week, Stevens Pass is closing due to high avalanche dangers. At this point it looks to be set to reopen after about a 4-6 hour delay… sometime in the morning. Word has it that winds at the Ski Area are in the 100mph range and the temperature is rising making the risk of naturally occuring avalanches high.
