Current University of Missouri tight ends coach Bruce Walker, who grew up in East Wenatchee, interviewed for the head coaching position at Central Washington University. The job appears to be going to Blaine Bennett, who played quarterback at Whitworth College in Spokane before spending time as both a head and assistant coach at a number of schools including: Western Oregon, Washington State University, Purdue University, and Michigan State University.
