2008 Chelan Winterfest “Fire & Ice” Pictures

Saturday, January 18th was the date of the annual Chelan Winterfest celebration. Some of the activities taking place in this NCW community were:

A polar bear plunge into Lake Chelan.
A bonfire.
A lighted parade.
Snowmobile drag races.
Snow sculptures

The kids seemed to have tons of fun whether they were ice skating, throwing snowballs, or sledding at Don Morris Park. There were a few sources of warmth at the park with portable fire pits and propane heaters, but the most popular way to warm up was by partaking of the Lions Club Chili.
