October 29th Marks 100th Anniversary Of Okanogan’s Incorporation

That’s right – October 29th, 2007 marks the 100th anniversary of Okanogan’s incorporation as a city.

Many local celebrations are planned including a raffle for a quilt, a community photo, a special one-day-only post office commemorative cancellation, and a community reception.

Events like these are great opportunities to look around and imagine what the towns and landscapes looked like 100 years ago, or 50 years ago, or even 20 years ago.
