Whether your tradition is to put up Christmas lights after Halloween, after Thanksgiving, or even later… the time to start thinking about holiday decorations is getting closer. We’re planning on having a new addition to the gallery that will feature Christmas decorations, so check back often.
There are many options available for holiday decorating, from traditional to modern. One nice new option that has been on the market recently is LED Christmas tree lights. LED Christmas lights are superior to the old bulb type lights in a number of ways:
Durability
With no glass bulb or filament to worry about, LED holiday lights are not broken as often. This cuts down on worrying if after you unpack them, the lights are even going to work this year.
Safety
Because LED holiday lights create very little heat (it looks like the heat output is just barely above that of ambient light), there is less possibility of a fire caused by overheating of dry material (like a Christmas tree).
Efficiency
Because of the simple nature of LED lighting, LED Christmas lights operate more efficiently. It doesn’t take anywhere near the amount of power to light up LED lights as it does to light up standard old-fashioned bulb lights.
So no matter what your holiday decoration plans are, LED Christmas lights can be a nice addition to - or even a replacement for your traditional bulb lighting.
Can’t wait to see everyone’s holiday decorations this year!
