Cell phones are a necessity these days, whether it is for business use or family use it seems hard to remember how we got along without them… and it wasn’t that long ago either. But along with the convenience comes the expense. One of the worst parts about getting a new cell phone or deciding whether you should change companies or plans is sorting through all the different offers available out there. It seems like each company has fifty different subscriber plans to choose from, all with different features and restrictions.

Here’s another great site to check out that I have come across recently. Using their cell phone tool right on the site you can punch in just a few things about your phone usage pattern (how many minutes you use, what percentage of your calls are on nights or weekends, etc.) and it will calculate your usage, compare it to other plans in your area, and give you a detailed list of what options you may have so you can get one of the best cell phone plans for you.

It brings back a great deal of information with each analysis you run; including monthly cost, coverage area, how many anytime minutes the plan has, what are the specifics regarding nights and weekend minutes, and best of all… how much each plan would save you over the course of a year versus the plan you have right now. That last part makes it all worthwhile. To ease your mind about service and repair, it even has cost & service ratings along with customer care ratings provided by J.D. Power.

I took the test myself, I used it on our family plan and I think when this contract is up we may be making a change to a different company. Now, what will I do with all the money I will be saving? Oh, I’m sure I can think of something.
