Former Wenatchee Planner Resigns Ashland, OR Post After Eight Months

David Stalheim left his position as the planning director of the City of Wenatchee less than a year ago to take the job of Community Development Director for Ashland, Oregon. Eight months later he is resigning that position and has agreed to become the planning and development services director for Whatcom County. He cited his and his family’s ties to Washington State as a contributing factor.
