Another State Park of Washington that falls within the North Central Washington boundaries is Bridgeport State Park. Bridgeport State Park sits on the north bank of the Columbia River just east of Chief Joseph Dam. The reservoir behind Chief Joseph Dam that the park sits on is actually called Rufus Woods Lake. There is about fifty miles of water to do all sorts of recreation on behind Chief Joseph Dam and it is easily accessible via the boat launch at Bridgeport State Park. There is also a nice golf course located just before the entrance to the park.
