Last October, officers from the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office confiscated a 1987 Gray Nissan Sentra they thought to be involved in a hit-and-run in the lower Columbia River Gorge. It took exactly one year since a young woman was killed, but police have arrested the suspected driver and he is now in custody.
