A Brief Look At Stayman Flats
Stayman Flats
Stayman Flats is an area of land below the Knapps Hill Tunnel leading to Chelan from Wenatchee. Stayman Flats is primarily agricultural, although like most riverfront property these days it is experiencing a burst of housing construction.
From Highway 97A, there is a 4 mile long road that dead ends at the end of Stayman Flats. The railroad also goes through Stayman Flats and comes fairly close to some of these new housing developments.
It’s a very interesting little corner of Chelan County, with only one way in and one way out.
