Camping Near Vantage on the Columbia River

On hot summer weekends, few places in Grant County are as packed as the unstructured campground/recreation area just south of the Vantage Bridge. A great place to head for jet skiing, boating, or just playing in the water and watching people. During the week it looks vacant and serene, but once the weekend hits its can get downright wild and crazy.

Lots of wide open water awaits at this makeshift campground… notice the Vantage Bridge in the background.

Anyone forget something when packing up from that last camping trip? Someone may need to call their insurance agent.
