Now that there are on-site rentals of canoes, kayaks, and rafts at popular Lake Wenatchee State Park; getting out to Emerald Island will be a lot easier.
Emerald Island sits in the eastern end of Lake Wenatchee right above where water exits the lake to form the Wenatchee River.

Who owns Emerald Island?
Hi Jennifer, thanks for a great question. It looks like from what I can see, that Emerald Island is included as part of Lake Wenatchee State Park. I’ll make a phone call tomorrow and comment back here if I find anything different out.
Thanks for stopping by,
Mark
I’m looking for the place to rent kayaks at Lake Wenatchee. We’re camping at the State Park and would like to have a better look at the lake. Do you know where I can rent a kayak?
We just camped there a week and a half ago and the shed that is setup there was empty. We were there for a full week and there was never any rentals offered. Maybe the business that handled it last year decided it wasn’t profitable enough to handle it again. I know there are kayak rental businesses in Leavenworth which is about twenty minutes away, if you can pick them up yourself that may work or they may also deliver. Wish I could be of more help.
Thanks for coming,
Mark
