Apparently during the fighting of the Easy Street Fire that occurred about two weeks ago, a Department of Natural Resources Firefighting Helicopter hit a firetruck with the water bucket it was carrying. The Meadow Creek Campground is the first campground after you turn off heading up the Chiwawa River area.
