Wenatchee Has Its Very Own Disc Golf Course

Built a couple of years ago, Wenatchee’s Rotary Park provides one of the few disc golf (or sometimes referred to as Frisbee golf) courses in the region. Nine holes in length, the course provides a nice opportunity for family bonding, outdoor actiivty, or settling a bet between friends.

Rotary Park

The game is played similar to regular golf, but instead of hitting a ball with a club you throw a frisbee. Instead of a hole in the ground there are unique metal baskets to catch the frisbee in flight that you’ll be aiming for.

Disc Golf

You can use any type of frisbee or flying disc you’d like, the free one you got from the burger joint will do. But, for those of you that dream of making it on the Professional Disc Golf Tour (?) you can check out discs made especially for frisbee golf at places like Hooked On Toys in Wenatchee.

Have fun.
