Pine Flats Campground – On The Mad River

Recently checked out the Pine Flats Campground up on the Mad River above Ardenvoir in the Entiat Valley. Beautiful country characterized by rugged mountains and fast flowing water. Pine Flats is a small campground with only a few regular campsites and one large family or group campsite. It’s the first campground you come to on your way up the Mad River Road outside of Ardenvoir. Very peaceful and quiet, there was only one family camping there on the Saturday we visited but it is only May.
